A young landlord’s past catches up to him when he falls for a tenant who triggers something deadly inside of him.

Childhood trauma often creates a permanent scar in the life and mind of person. It can cause them to be socially inept and terrible at maintaining relationships with anyone. Such was the case for Ben Bowers. He and his siblings suffered emotional and physical abuse from their psychotic father. The man exerted his power over his children by making them witness each other’s torture. This continued until they took matters into their own hands and permanently freed themselves from him cruelty.

Ben knew he had significant problems when he discovered gaps of time in which he couldn’t remember what happened or how he got home. He thought he was managing his problem just fine by keeping to himself and living a solitary lifestyle. That all ended when he met Shara. She was different. He immediately liked her and wanted to pursue a relationship with her.

Unfortunately, his shattered mind had different plans.
